First time playing. LOVED IT!!!

When this game originally came out a few years back, it totally passed me by. I bought it on a whim when I noticed it on the App Store for 50% off. That was not a mistake. I finished the game only a few minutes ago, and every moment was incredible! There are elements that feel a little rough around the edges, or not fleshed out enough, but it doesnt detract from the game. You pretty much have all of your weapons and abilities from the start, but the ways you can use them are incredible. Its up to you to experiment with weapon combinations and tactics, and it really keeps the game feeling fresh. There is a little lack of diversity among enemy types, but ultimately, it didnt matter, because I had so much fun planning my attack, and then having to improvise when things went wrong.
The constant switch between third and first-person mechanics is handled flawlessly, and as a result, this game is unlike any other game I have played.
Aside from the incredibly solid gameplay mechanics, this game has an engaging storyline that repeatedly takes interesting turns.
The only major negative thing I encountered, was that the touch controls, which are actually some of the best controls Ive seen in an action game, still become a little clunky on the more difficult boss battles.
Ultimately, I have not played an iOS game I have liked this much, maybe ever, and this game is ranking way up in my top twenty, or maybe even top ten games on any system.
