A Great Classic of a Game!

The last time I played Stranger’s Wrath was back on the original Xbox. it’s nice to finally be able to revisit this classic game. The graphics are amazing for my iPhone and I’ve yet to suffer from any lagging as others said they have. I’m still only early in the game though and so there’s not many enemies. The music fits the atmosphere and NPCs are always making me laugh with their jabberings amongst themselves and the player.

Now this being an Oddworld game, the story and gameplay are near perfection. Its ‘live ammo’ feature is one of the most original features I’ve seen in the current oversaturated and cliché FPS genre. The game has a major change halfway through the story that will surprise many for the good. The pre-rendered cutscenes are amazing!

My only problem with Stranger’s Wrath is that the controls are a bit wonky. It takes a while to get used to them. Aiming can be a chore at times, which makes the larger battles more difficult than they already are. I highly suggest a new player to this game play only on ‘Easy’ to get experience!
